Patricia Thebez is an artist whose watercolor practice explores the intersection of beauty, healing, and emotional resilience. Her intricate compositions evoke living coral reefs and underwater gardens, where delicate patterns and organic forms intertwine to create immersive visual ecosystems. Through the fluid nature of watercolor, she balances structure and spontaneity, allowing soft gradients and repetitive motifs to unfold into contemplative landscapes that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

Patricia's artistic journey began as a personal response to mental health challenges. What started as an intuitive process of painting while listening to music gradually evolved into a meditative practice that played a significant role in her emotional recovery. This experience shaped her understanding of art not only as a form of expression, but also as a space for healing, connection, and hope. Today, her work reflects an ongoing interest in how creative practices can foster safe and supportive environments, particularly for vulnerable communities. Active in the exhibition circuit since 2012, Patricia has participated in numerous exhibitions across Indonesia and abroad. Her notable exhibitions include Art Jakarta with BEKRAF (2018), Art Moments Bali (2023), FUSE with Meramu, and Versus Project × DGTMB by Eko Nugroho in Yogyakarta (2025). In addition to her participation in various group exhibitions, she has also presented the solo exhibition Wildflower at Sainou Space, Singapore.
